Biden swore that nobody told him to leave troops in Afghanistan during the withdrawal and a bunch of top generals just nuked that claim

A little over a month ago Biden was asked if any of his military
advisers had told him to “just keep 2,500 troops” in Afghanistan
following the withdrawal. Biden’s response:

“No. No one said that to me that I can recall.”
