Something that simple would honor the sacrifice of so many who had made the ultimate sacrifice and given the last full measure of devotion so that "the government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from the earth". We honor the man who uttered those words at the dedication of the cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Either you support and defend the Constitution, abide and adhere to it, or you don't. If you do not, then you are not deserving to be in a position of authority in these United States of America.
