DHS said ICE lodged a detainer against Jesus Alejandro Ramirez-Padilla after Utah authorities charged him with attempted murder, aggravated assault, obstruction of justice, and drug paraphernalia offenses. The statement says local reports allege he strangled a woman and slit her throat multiple times in Salt Lake City, leaving her in critical condition.

DHS said ICE lodged a detainer against Conrrado Ahuexoteco Atrisco, a Mexican national charged in Utah with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old Park City High School student. The statement says local reports allege he forcibly touched and assaulted the girl at a friend's apartment after she told him to stop.
